Degree Programs

The School offers a four-year Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with an enrollment of 270 students and a Master of Architecture with approximately 50 students. If you do not have an undergraduate degree in architecture, then the program is three years (93 credits), with a summer session requirement in advance of the first year. If you are an architectural undergraduate, then it takes two years and requires 60 credits.

The undergraduate program spends one semester in Charleston, Genoa, or Barcelona as part of Clemson’s renowned Fluid Campus. The masters program also spends at least one semester in Charleston with the option of an additional semester in Genoa.

The Master of Architecture graduate program has a Concentration option in Architecture and Health that is one of the most structured and established program of its type in the United States. A Master of Science in Architecture is offered as a research degree, as is a Ph.D. in Planning, Design and the Built Environment, with concentration areas in Architecture.
