Dr. Grau received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University and his B.A. from New York University. Chris specializes in ethics (including applied ethics), topics in metaphysics (personal identity, free will), and philosophical work on film. He has published articles in the Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, the Journal of Moral Philosophy, Midwest Studies in Philosophy, Philo, Philosophical Topics, and The Southern Journal of Philosophy. He has chapters published in collections from Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Routledge, and Blackwell. Prior to coming to Clemson, Chris was Visiting Assistant Professor at UNC – Chapel Hill and Assistant Professor at Florida International University in Miami.
