Dr. Delmas received her Ph.D. from Boston University, her M.A. from Georgia State University, and a Master 2 in Ethics and Politics from the Université of Paris IV, Sorbonne. She specializes in philosophy of law, social and political philosophy, and ethics. She has published articles in Law and Philosophy, the Boston University Law Review, and Jurisprudence, among other publications. Currently, her research focuses on political responsibility, especially moral obligations in the face of injustice. In her dissertation, "The Duty to Disobey," Dr. Delmas argues that the grounds commonly used to support a duty to obey the law yield duties to engage in political resistance and civil disobedience under seriously unjust conditions.
