Captain Jordan is the Recruiting Flight Commander and an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Air Force ROTC Detachment 770, Clemson University, South Carolina. Capt Jordan is responsible for motivating, training, and counseling Air Force officer candidates through all aspects of the ROTC process to include leadership laboratory and field training preparation. Capt Jordan received his commission through the Air Force ROTC program at North Carolina State University in 2004 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2009, he graduated from the Air Force Institute of Technology with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialty in Signal Processing. Capt Jordan has served in a variety of positions related to flight testing, program management, and research and development for air-to-air weapons systems and laser radar (LADAR) target detection and identification. In 2011 he deployed as the government lead for an operational demonstration of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency’s High Altitude LIDAR Operations Experiment program in support of Army Geospatial Center and International Security Assistance Force Joint Command.
