About the Joseph F. Sullivan Center

The Joseph F. Sullivan Center is a nurse managed clinic located on Clemson University's campus in 101 Edwards Hall. We recognize that no single professional discipline is able to meet all of the health related needs of individuals and communities so we use a collaborative model of care. Although nurse practitioners are our primary providers, they work with a team of physicians in our area, health educators, community outreach programs, and student interns to help clients achieve optimum health and well-being. Through many partnerships, grants, and collaborations, the Joseph F. Sullivan Center is able to provide outreach to many underserved communities throughout our area in the upstate of South Carolina. As we strive to provide high quality, affordable and culturally competent health care to our patients, we also provide "hands-on" learning experiences for students and provide opportunities for faculty to integrate teaching, research and service. Students from Clemson University's School of Nursing, Department of Health Science, Department of Languages and other departments assist our staff in caring for these individuals through our community projects.
