•Conduct research pertaining to academic achievement, access and equity, after-school programs, crime and safety issues in schools, disparities in health and education, diversity issues in education, economic and finance issues in education, educational policy, educational technology, family and youth development, gifted education, mentoring, parental involvement, recruitment and retention, rural education, service learning, standardized testing, social justice, study abroad, as well as school, family, and community partnerships. These research priorities are examined within broad topical categories that include but are not limited to early childhood education, secondary education, educational leadership, teacher education, special education, counselor education, science education, and higher education.
•Pursue funding for research and programs.
•Enhance educational experiences and outcomes for students.
•Provide professional development opportunities for educators, administrators, and researchers.
•Examine diversity and community issues at Clemson University and other educational institutions in the state of South Carolina and throughout the United States.
•Support the mission and goals of Clemson University, the College of Health, Education, and Human Development, and the Eugene T. Moore School of Education.
