Each semester the Department of Automotive Engineering brings in key industry leaders and visionary academics to educate our students, alumni, and partners. Information on upcoming lectures will be posted here as it becomes available.

Unless otherwise noted, all lectures are held in the AT&T Auditorium in the Campbell Graduate Engineering Center, 4 Research Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. The Campbell Center is located on the CU-ICAR campus. Directions can be found here.

BMW Joint Venture (BMW-Brilliance) was founded in 2003. Joint Venture has now two vehicle plants, an engine plant, and an R&D center located in Shenyang, China. In 2013, the facility produced approximately 250,000 units including the 5 series, 3 series, and X1. Production capability will soon reach 600,000 units per year with an extension of the current plants. BMW Joint Venture is dedicated to quality and has been awarded the JDPower IQS Award three times in the last four years.
