Alpha Eta Mu Beta

In a ceremony that included an address by Dominic Nathan, National AEMB Student President, the department inaugurated the Clemson Chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta on Friday, December 2, 2011.

AEMB is a biomedical engineering honor society founded in 1979 by Dr. Daniel Reneau of Louisiana Tech University. Membership in AEMB is offered to the top fifth of juniors and top third of seniors in biomedical engineering who have completed at least six semester credit hours (or the equivalent) of biomedical engineering courses.
