
Louis Stokes South Carolina Alliance for Minority Participation (LS-SCAMP) Annual Research Conference – Clemson Wins Big

In October, six PEER Students won big at the LS-SCAMP undergraduate research conference. The conference took place at the University of South Carolina. The following students participated:
Bria Dawson (Bioengineering), Devanté Horne (Bioengineering), Devin Gordon (Materials Science and Engineering), Andrew Johnson (Physics), Freddy Page (Civil Engineering), and Courtney Ward (Biological Sciences).
Three graduate students, Shiree Hughes (Computer Science), Caleb Eljach (Bioengineering), and France Jackson (Industrial Engineering) also participated in the conference by serving as members of the team of judges evaluating the competition.
We are very pleased to announce that first place prizes in their respective divisions were won by Freddy and Courtney (presenting jointly on their research with Santee Cooper); Bria Dawson (presenting on her research at Nanyang Institute in Singapore); and Devin Gordon (presenting on his research at Case Western University in Ohio).
