Q:

I am a 9-month Faculty member and I elected to participate in the Pay Over 12 Months Program. How will my pay be impacted?



A:

If you elected to participate in the Voluntary After-Tax Deferral Program (9 Over 12), the final deduction will be withheld from your May 10, 2013 paycheck.

The deferrals will then be refunded in seven equal, after-tax, payments during the summer beginning with the May 24, 2013 payday.  Due to the 9-month Faculty transition in August to the new semi-monthly pay schedule, the disbursement schedule is different from last summer, which had six equal installments.

The funds will be direct deposited on the following schedule:

May 24, 2013

June 7, 2013

June 21, 2013

July 5, 2013

July 19, 2013

August 2, 2013

August 16, 2013

Please note, if you are also receiving summer pay, there are up to eight paydays for Summer 2013.  For additional information on 2013 summer paydays for 9-month employees, as well as the transition to semi-monthly, please go to Summer 2013 and Semi-Monthly Information.

You will receive an email later in the summer with the details of participating again for the 2013-2014 academic year.
