Voluntary Separation Program: What is the incentive to participate in the VSP?
Employees who participate in the VSP will receive the following:
- A separation payment of no more than one year’s base salary
- Payment by Clemson University of the employer portion of health and dental benefits for up to one year, unless the employee otherwise becomes eligible for such benefits. Employees who are not participating in health and dental benefits prior to the VSPs start date are not eligible for this part of the incentive.
- Payment for any unused compensatory leave and up to 45 days of unused annual leave as provided for in the Human Resources Regulations and agency policy.
