The Athletic Council agreed that student academics should be foremost when recruiting and monitoring Clemson University student athletes. Academic integrity should be primary in admissions decisions.
Clemson Land Utilization Plan 2002 (pdf)
University officials began taking a hard look at how to best utilize and leverage the school’s holdings in support of its lofty goals. This plan was meant to start discussion and look ahead to the future.
Final Report Clemson Land Use 2005 (pdf)
In reviewing the 2002 plan, the Faculty Senate Select Commmittee on Clemson Land Use Property Committee found that development as outlined in these plans is in direct conflict with the University Board of Trustees policy on land sale or exchange. They recommended appointing a Land Use Advisory Committee and a third party experts panel to finalize a set of guiding principles and to begin the formal task of developing a Clemson Land Use Property Initiative.
