AP and IB Credit

When you are taking an AP test, mark that you want your AP scores sent to Clemson University (CEEB #5111). Credit is given if you have a score of 3 or above on an AP test. AP credits can be a great help in making college a little easier. The more classes you get credit for in high school the fewer core classes you have to take once you get to Clemson, which opens up your schedule even more for neat classes in other areas you may be interested in! Also, many organizations are only open for membership to students who have completed sixty hours or more. By completing some of these hours prior to Clemson University, you become eligible earlier. If you wish to find more information on Clemson’s policies for AP scores or to see a chart on credit awarded for scores visit:

The International Baccalaureate or IB Diploma Program is approved by Clemson University also. The accepted score for each type of test is different. By completing the IB program can also reduce the amount of core classes you have to take upon arrival at Clemson. This is also a way to free your schedule for classes outside of your core curriculum. For information on scores that receive credit for International Baccalaureate please see the web site below.
