Family Weekend

Family Weekend is a great time to come and visit your student and experience what a spirited Clemson football Saturday is really like. This year, the annual event will be held Sept. 18 and 19. Check out the calendar for a detailed list of events going on.

Fill out the registration form and mail it and your payment to the Parents’ Council by Sept. 1. Don't forget to order your t-shirt when you send in your form. Sizes S, M and L are $10 and XL and XXL $11.

Football tickets

The Tigers are at home against Boston College on Sept. 19. That contest will be televised by Raycom and will have a noon kickoff.

Football tickets to the game against Boston College are now available.

If you would like to order football tickets to the game against Boston College, simply call 1-800-CLEMSON and identify yourself as a parent of a Clemson student. After July 7, we suggest you do this as quickly as you can. Tickets will be mailed directly to you.

Also, if your student wants to sit with you during the game, please have their student ID number ready when you call.

Bus transportation

Bus service transportation will be provided on both Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 for families staying at our host hotel, the Greenville Hilton. The bus service transportation will pick up from the Hilton at Greenville.

On Friday, buses will leave the Hilton at 12:30 p.m. The buses will depart from Clemson (pickup will be in front of Brackett Hall) at 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, buses will leave the Hilton three and 1/2 hours before game time and will depart Clemson, two hours after the game ends (pickup will be in front of McFadden building).

The cost for bus transportation for Friday and Saturday is $65 per person — this covers your ride for Friday and Saturday.

Please note that because of the transportation contract we are unable to offer you a reduced price for only one day.

Hotel Accommodations

The official hotel for Family Weekend 2009 will be the Hilton Greenville. The price of each room will be $105 to $115 (depending on type of room). For more detailed information about the Hilton please call (864) 232-4747, ask about Family Weekend special rate. The bus to Clemson will take you to and from campus both Friday afternoon, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19.

Parents' Council Tailgate

Starting three hours prior to the Saturday game, the Clemson University Parents' Council will host a tailgate in Littlejohn Coliseum on Clemson’s campus. The event is sponsored by the Parents’ Council and ARAMARK food service. Everyone is invited to join the festivities prior to the game with Clemson fans and university officials.
