Parents' Council
All Clemson parents are encouraged to become involved in the Clemson University Parents’ Council. The Council was created in 1990 and works hand-in-hand with the University administration. Parents’ Council helps ensure that you are an informed parent. Each one of us is needed to make the Parents’ Council a strong constituency for parents, students and Clemson University.
During the early years, the council adopted four goals, which remain the focus today.
- Offer a parent’s perspective to the University.
- Be well-informed University ambassadors.
- Assist in academic recruiting.
- Promote fund-raising efforts for student-related activities, facilities and organizations.
