Weekday Tours

This is your chance to ask a Clemson student just what this University, campus and classes are really like. Your student tour guide will give you an overview of the University’s history as well as the ins and outs of campus life today. Each campus tour begins with a short information session led by one of our Admissions officers. Please make sure you register for the tour.

Campus Tour Details

  • Saturday campus tours are available on select weekends. Available dates/times are listed online during the "Register for a tour" process.
  • Campus construction has closed parking around the Visitors Center. Please refer to our Directions page as you plan your trip to Clemson.
  • Tours last an hour and a half.
  • Wear comfortable shoes. It matters.
  • Be early! Try to arrive 30-45 minutes before your tour starts.
  • Throw a couple bucks in your pocket in case you get thirsty/hungry on the tour. You will pass several vending machines.
  • Our weekday tours begin with a short admissions session.
  • If you have special needs that should be met while on campus, contact the Visitors Center at 864-656-4789 ahead of time to make arrangements.

The Clemson Visitors Center is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on select Saturdays throughout the year.

Group Tours

If you have a high-school-aged group of 10 or more who would like to tour campus, please contact Tracey O’Kelley at tokelle@clemson.edu or 864-656-7697 to arrange your visit. Please read our group tour guidelines before calling to schedule your tour.

Campus Tour App

If you can’t make one of our tours, we would love for you to try out our new campus tour app, available on the Web. No download required. This tour follows the same path as our student-led tours but is condensed into the palm of your hand. Check it out at clemson.edu/campus-map/tour.

Special Events

Fall Blitz

Come experience Clemson alongside hundreds of prospective students just like you. Designed specifically for high school seniors, Fall Blitz offers campus tours, admissions and financial aid sessions, an information fair and departmental open houses among other activities.

Spring Blitz

The biggest admissions event we host all year, Spring Blitz attracts thousands of prospective students seeking answers to their most important questions. Meet face-to-face with admissions and financial aid personnel in daily information sessions. Go to our majors fair where you can meet with college staff and find out what each of our degree programs is all about. All this, plus our standard campus tours and program-specific tours make Spring Blitz a must.

This year’s Spring Blitz event will be held April 13, 14, 17 or 18. Registration will open in mid-January. Please check back for additional schedule information.

Discover Clemson

This special campus visitation day is by invitation only. Held in late spring for high school juniors, Discover Clemson is all about the Clemson Experience. Prospective students can talk to current students about Clemson’s great educational offerings and the unparalleled college experience they enjoy here. Go home with a sense of what it feels like to be a Tiger — and get a free T-shirt for the road!

Football Saturday for Applied Students

Saturdays are not just for football at Clemson! Have admissions questions? There will be four home games where an admissions counselor will be available to speak with students and parents two hours before kick-off time. After you submit your Clemson application for admission, check for an email from us about discounted football tickets and these informal admissions session. Then stop by the front of Sikes Hall to say hello, ask questions, and get to know an admissions counselor. This year, counselors will be available at the following four games:

  • Louisville — Oct. 1
  • NC State — Oct. 15
  • Syracuse — Nov. 5
  • Pittsburgh — Nov. 12

Senior Information Sessions

Clemson’s affordability and top-ranked academics consistently attract students from all across the nation. Join us for an information session hosted by Clemson, the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina. At each, you’ll find out more about our admissions requirements, scholarship and financial aid information, scholar programs and more.

  • Greenville, South Carolina — Thursday, Sept. 8 at the TD Convention Center
  • Columbia, South Carolina — Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Koger Center
  • Charlotte, North Carolina — Monday, Sept. 12 at the Crowne Plaza/Charlotte Executive Park
  • Charleston, South Carolina — Sunday, Sept. 18 at the College of Charleston Sottile Theater
  • Florence, South Carolina — Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Osborne’s
