The Clemson University Guide Association, founded in 1984, is a select group of students who serve the University as goodwill ambassadors to campus, providing a variety of educational and public relations services.
Tours are conducted from the Visitors Center on a regularly scheduled basis seven days a week, except for selected holidays and summer Sundays. Other services are handled upon request and include: hosting V.I.P. groups such as college development boards, Board of Visitors, President’s Advisory Council and the Atlantic Coast Conference university presidents; Clemson Club recruiting efforts; and greeting guests at the President’s Box. Tour services often include visits to research areas, as well as a general introduction to Clemson University. The Association is recognized by the Executive Office, Alumni Association, and University administration as a leading organization at Clemson University.
Please send an e-mail to either of the current VPs of recruiting if you are interested in becoming a Clemson University tour guide.
We are currently in the active phase of recruitment. Please complete a CUGA application and return it to the Visitors Center front desk by 4:30pm on October 3rd.
