Animal and Veterinary Science speaker
-Clemson sends the highest number of students to vet school out of any other college in the state.
-Lots of things that AVS majors can do after college besides vet school.
-prepares for careers, grad school or vet school.
-350 undergrads, 18 faculty
-access to five farms off campus (poultry, dairy, equine, swine, beef cattle)
-seventeen seats guaranteed for SC residents at the UGA vet school. (with in state tuition)
-5 seats at Miss. State and 5 seats at Tuskegee
-Clemson has the only pre-vet program in the state approved by the SC commission for higher education

-CBBS majors- Horizons Workshops promotion.
- Meetings available for CBBS majors, with focus on topics that would be beneficial.
-On the CBBS website, all events listed, can register online.

-applications open now, due Oct 13
-interviews Oct 22 week (MWF)- e-mail Kate if you are interested in helping
-only one recruitment this year, losing lots of seniors, need lots of good people!
-people who haven't taken the test need to do so! A helpful review for tours! Please take it before the next meeting (Oct 7.) Stop by any time.
