October 28 2015. Congratulations to Dan Whitehead who along with Frank Alexis from Bioengineering was awarded a grant titled “Accessing Kilogram Scale Quantities of Functional Nanoparticles for the Remediation of Industrial Environmental Contaminants”. The grant was funded for one year for $69K. Also, congratulations to Jeff Anker, whose NIH R21 Grant proposal, "Developing a luminescent tension-indicating orthopedic screw," with John DesJardins as co-PI and surgical collaborators Tom Pace and Caleb Behrend was just awarded for $379K total over two years. Good news, Jeff and Dan!
