Dr. Tyminski holds a joint appointment in the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Mathematical Sciences. He teaches mathematics education and content courses for prospective elementary school mathematics teachers. Dr. Tyminski is also involved in the Center of Excellence for Inquiry in Mathematics and Science; working closely with Inquiry In Motion, a professional development activity for middle grades mathematics teachers. He is an active member of NCTM and AMTE.
