Dr. Stegelin is a professor of early childhood education and is engaged in research and study abroad experiences in Reggio Emiia, Italy, in collaboration with the University of Reggio Emilia and Dr. Luciano Cecconi. In addition, she is active in recruiting students for the new Master\\\\\\\'s of Early Childhood Education and is providing leadership for the College\\\\\\\'s Play Summits in 2010 and 2011. She is mentoring doctoral students in the Curriculum & Instruction Ph.D. program.
