Freshman Class Welcomed!

White coats have been a part of healthcare for almost a century, although the ceremonies are much more recent.  The white coat symbolizes caring, compassion and professionalism.  This ceremony is an opportunity to welcome freshmen into the profession of nursing.  As a part of their freshmen experience, students shadow a professional nurse in their home community. Each coat has a Clemson School of Nursing badge.  The white coat and university identification badge distinguishes students from volunteers and visitor.  If you are interested in having a Clemson student shadow you. Please contact the School of Nursing.

2011 Senior Recognition Day

The Spring 2011 graduating class was recognized on April 27th, 2011 at the Clemson Outdoor Lab.  The students displayed research projects, and their hard work and accomplishments were celebrated.  Congratulations to our graduates!  View images from our 2011 Senior Recognition Day.

SC Hospital Magnet Conference

Dani Wordes and Meg Miller, two senior nursing students, won first place in the SC Hospital Magnet Conference poster presentation.  The 6th Annual Conference was held April 10-11th in Columbia, SC.  Click on an image to view full-size.

Sigma Theta Tau Induction Ceremony
