Sept 25 - 28, 2006 - Joint INDA-TAAPPI Conference - International Nonwovens Technical Conference, Houston, Texas Dr. Bhuvenesh C. Goswami, Emeritus Faculty, was awarded the 2006 TAPPI Nonwovens Division Technical Award and Mark Hollingsworht Price. This award recognizes outstanding accomplishments that have advanced the industry's technology in the field of nonwovens. October 16, 2006 - The American Ceramic Society 108th Annual Meeting - Cincinnati, Ohio Dr. Kathleen Richardson, Director of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, was awarded the 2006 Society Fellow. Dr. Richardson is Chair of the Glass and Optical Materials Division of the American Ceramic Society. Dr. Burtrand Lee, Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, was awarded the 2006 Society Fellow. Dr. Lee is a member of the Electronics Division of the American Ceramic Society. October 17, 2006 - The American Ceramic Society 108th Annual Meeting - Cincinnati, Ohio Dr. Kathleen Richardson and Dr. Eric Skaar were inducted into the National Institute of Ceramic Engineers at the Order of the Engineer - 2006 Induction Ceremony.
