Dawn Anticole White is the Marketing Communications and Program Coordinator for the Institute of Computational Ecology (ICE) and the Center for Watershed Excellence (CWE). Dawn is the coordinator of the biennial S.C. Water Resources Conference (www.scwaterconference.org), and she manages the organization, marketing, fundraising, printing and finances for the event. She manages ICE digital and print marketing communications including: 1) maintaining the websites and individual project sites of ICE, CWE, the Restoration Institute, the Energy Systems Innovation Center and the Office of Economic Development; 2) maintaining ICE social media accounts on facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr; 3) publishing the ICE Research News biannual newsletter, the CWE Annual Report and final research project reports; and 4) serving as a contributing writer for external media placement.
Dawn has extensive experience in project and special events management, marketing communications and website development. She began working at the Center for Watershed Excellence in the fall of 2008 to assist with the inaugural S.C. Water Resources Conference. Dawn's career experience includes public relations, marketing, website and special event management for several nonprofit organizations and account management at a public relations / advertising agency specializing in media relations and public relations campaign planning.
