Tom Neal, Co-Creator and Producer

Expeditions is directed, produced, and co-created by Tom Neal, a 20-year Clemson University veteran whose media skills have landed him several awards. He was most recently honored for his work on “Ideas Changing the World,” a project for Clemson’s bioengineering department. Tom is the production manager for Video Production Services at Clemson University.

David White, Director, Editor and Videographer

David is senior producer and director of Clemson’s Video Production Services. During his 20 years at Clemson, he has earned many honors including several Telly awards, the premier honor for cable TV commercials and programs, as well as top video and film productions.

Josh Guillot, Videographer and Editor

Josh brings 8 years of experience in the video field with him, having worked as a director/producer of documentary, commercial, and educational video in Chicago and New Orleans prior to joining the Clemson University "Expeditions" team in 2006. His career highlights include shooting sideline cam for the New Orleans Saints professional football team, operating the first DaVinci surgical robot in Chicago with no formal medical training, and body slamming Andre the Giant in Wrestlemania III.

Scott Smith, Sound Engineer

Scott has been Chief Engineer of Video Production Services at Clemson University since 2001. Before joining Clemson, he spent seven years as a Broadcast Engineer with the NBC affiliate in Greenville, SC.

Matt Johnson, Production Assistant

Matt is a senior at Clemson University majoring in Wildlife Biology. After graduation he will be pursuing a graduate degree as well as his life-long dream of producing a nature documentary.
