Birdcam

Mama Bird

Near the Bob Campbell Geology Museum, on the grounds of the South Carolina Botanical Garden, is a bird house designed to attract bluebirds, although titmice, chickadees and other small-cavity nesting birds and mammals may also use it. Through the Birdcam, an infrared camera located in the top of the house, you can watch live footage of the birds visiting, nesting, tending eggs and raising chicks. This project was funded by Landscapes for Learning http://business.clemson.edu/Lflearn/ at Clemson University and was installed by BSA Troop 161 in April 2007.
