Master's in Public Administration with Specialties in Family and Community Studies
Students enrolled in Clemson's MPA program, administered by the Strom Thurmond Institute, may fulfill their elective requirements by completing the Graduate Certificate program in FCS. Two specialty programs are offered:
Community Services
- Includes courses on community development, community institutions, community transformation and humanitarian assistance
- Appropriate for community planners and local administrators of nonprofit and public human services agencies
Social Policy
- Includes courses in comparative social policy, human rights law, child policy, health policy, and democratic theory
- Appropriate for federal, state, and regional administrators of community services
