Sculpture expanded in S.C. Botoanical Garden
One of the S.C. Botanical Garden’s nature sculptures, Earthen Bridge by Georgia artist Brian Rust, was strengthened and expanded in February. The wood, clay, and granite sculpture, originally constructed in 1996, was the third in the garden’s collection of nature-based art. Now, 13 sculptures have been created, making the Clemson garden one of a few such collections in the world. All the sculptures are designed by well-known artists and constructed by volunteers from Clemson’s students, faculty, staff and community members.
