Pickens County offers Junior Naturalist 4-H Program

Three children by the lakePickens County youth learn about the natural world and enhance their science skills through 4-H Junior Naturalist programs.

The material corresponds with the science curriculum for grades 3-6. This year’s programs include paleontology, natural history, fisheries biology, botany and entomology.

Two programs are offered in the fall and spring with one program in the winter. Participants who complete five of the 10 programs within two years are recognized as a Junior Naturalist.
