More than 20 people work as full time permanent employees at the Edisto Research and Education Center supporting the various Research and Extension projects underway. In addition there are several temporary employees who work off of grant money. Positions include book keepers and secretaries as well as members of the Farm Crew, Cattle Crew, and the Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Crew. Five core technicians are split among the 10 primary projects. The core technicians all have at least a two-year post high school degree as do many of the other employees.
