School Days at the Sandhill REC

School Days at the Clemson Sandhill REC

Following a 2015 season marked by the thousand year flood, the 2016 season returns rested and renewed. We have a new custom hayride wagon with a fringed top, and will again be utilizing our historic red barn as School Days central.  All participants receive a pumpkin, the lessons include plant life (with a classroom take-away), corn, water and historic crops.  The students will explore the giant corn maze and enjoy a hayride.  The cost is $7.00 per person for everyone except the classroom teachers and school staff.

There are fewer dates available this year and you are encouraged to make your reservation as soon as possible.  We will operate Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays beginning October 5 through October 31.  Tuesdays are dark.  Sadly, over the last few years we have had to turn groups away.  Don't delay in securing your school's spot for 2016. You can access the Clemson Sandhill School Days application by clicking here and completing the brief form.
