Laurel Wilt
A  disease of red bay (Persea borbonia) vectored by an ambrosia beetle. Much of our native red bay has been killled by this disease. Click the link to learn more.

Citrus Greening Disease
In 2005, this disease was detected in Florida citrus. The insect vector of the disease, a psyllid, was detected in South Carolina in 2008, but the disease has not been detected here. Click the link to learn more.
