Breeding Program
The CUEC provides instruction to students who gain hands-on experience within the reproductive field of equine science while producing quality young stock. Those involved in Clemson University breeding practicums have the opportunity to experience and contribute to every facet of the breeding and parturition process. CUEC foals out five to ten mares every spring and is committed to safe and superior breeding procedures.
Clemson University is pleased to announce our newest addition to the breeding program.
AMBER PASS (AQHA #4828239; AllBreedPedigree.com) is now standing at Clemson University for the 2012 breeding season. This 16.2h bay stallion is sired by Uncle Geoff by Sure Tuffy Too (AQHA World Champion Halter Stallion) and out of TB mare that produced two Allowance money earners. Amber Pass acquired his AQHA Register of Merit in Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Hack and Working Hunter. His only get to show under saddle, Roses By The Bay, has earned his ROM. Clemson University owns a 2011 bay colt by AMBER PASS and out of Romantic Sensation (TB), who is owned by the university (see the sale horses page).
Amber Pass is nominated to the AQHA Incentive Fund. Shipped semen is available. For breeding contracts and additional information, please contact Rebecca Shirley at: annab@clemson.edu. Amber Pass is owned by Don and Donna Coats of Virginia.
