Hopkins Beech Grove
The Hopkins Beech Grove is a collection of soaring beech trees surrounding a winding branch of Hunnicut Creek. The beeches range from slender to over 4 feet in diameter. The grove is located off the eastern border of the Kelly Meadow, south of the Heritage Gardens and east/northeast of the Meadow Pond.
The Hopkins Beech Grove is supported by the Hopkins Family Garden Endowment, which was established in memory of John Drayton Hopkins and in honor of Elizabeth Agnew Hopkins by their son, John Drayton Hopkins, Jr. and is supported by friends and family.
