About Us

The Clemson University Service Alliance promotes both public and campus awareness of public service, community service and service-learning efforts at Clemson University. The purpose of the Alliance is to:
  • Provide networking opportunities for faculty, staff, students and community members throughout the year
  • Coordinate with and provide connection to different site agencies and organization for service-learning activities
  • Provide faculty resources for service-learning course development, reflection, assessment and documentation techniquesNurses working with a local school
  • Provide and promote training opportunities related to community service and service-learning for faculty, staff, students and community partners

Journal for Research:

The National Service-Learning Partnership is pleased to announce the release of Information for Action: A Journal for Research on Service-Learning for Children and Youth, Volume I, Number 2.

The Journal is a peer-reviewed publication that features relevant, methodologically sound studies of service-learning impacts and examples of innovative instruction written by experts, scholars, practitioners, and youth.

The Journal is filled with important reports from a variety of perspectives and includes information that contributes to the growing literature on service-learning research. In it, you will find studies from collegiate researchers, practitioners, and youth.
