Carolina Clear

Carolina Clear is the outreach and public education arm of the Center for Watershed Excellence.  Carolina Clear works amongst regional partnerships with communities, organizations and others to educate and involve the public in waterway protection and pollution prevention. Explore ways that you can get involved by exploring the Carolina Clear website and the regional consortiums listed below.  Remember, each individual action counts to prevent stormwater pollution. We all live downstream!

CU Watershed Management

Clemson University Facilities and Carolina Clear have partnered together to increase stormwater and watershed awareness for the campus of Clemson University. By engaging students, faculty and staff and the community of Clemson as a whole on stormwater topics and projects, Clemson will be able to educate others about stormwater and its affects on our local waterways.

Education and Involvement Efforts:
Working with student groups and clubs on stormwater and water resources protection projects
Stormwater-related presentations to classes and student groups
Trainings and activities for faculty and staff
Social and mass media
Student intern projects

Clemson University hopes to be a demonstration and training grounds for the region, increasing technical development and training opportunities for those managing stormwater pollution.
