In preparation for our training session, please print the Webmaster's Guide. Pages 18-25 of the guide presents some basic web design concepts that we will not necessarily focus on during the training session, please review this section prior to your training and come prepared to ask any questions resulting from this reading.

Course Description:

This is an interactive, hands-on workshop. To demonstrate your understanding of the product usage, all attendees are expected to participate throughout the training session. If you are joining a session held in E142 Poole or via Polycom, you will need to provide your own laptop with wireless/Internet connectivity. There are a few available for us to borrow as needed. Please contact us if you would like us to reserve a lap top for you to use on campus. (PSA_WEB-L@CLEMSON.EDU).

The above user guide will be our only materials for the training session. Please be sure to print this document prior to training and bring it with you. If you prefer to take notes, please bring the needed supplies. We only have 4 hours to cover a lot of material, please help us use your time wisely.

Facilities:

Some classes use a computer lab provided by CCIT.  If you would like to bring a drink, please be sure that the container has a screw-top lid. Please no food at the computer.

Parking:

For those of you who have not visited campus lately, parking around the “Ag Quad” is limited (construction all around). Please arrive in time to find a parking space and get to the classroom prior to the training session. In respect of those who arrive on-time, we will begin at the designated time.
State vehicles can park on campus without a hang-tag. State vehicles with the SG tags can park in unrestricted employee or student spaces without a permit. They cannot park in visitor spaces. Please contact parking services to obtain a visitors pass prior to the training session.
