Honorary (NRHH) The Clemson University Living and Learning Community originated in the Fall of 2005. The Civics and Service House is for academically talented, community-minded and civically engaged students. While living in the Clemson House, community members develop and participate in community and public service projects on Clemson's campus and in local communities across South Carolina. Community members will also participate in group activities such as seminars, workshops, film viewings, field trips, and alternative breaks. The Civics and Service House is open to all service-oriented students, regardless of major. The program offers students an opportunity to engage in service projects, explore public service career options, investigate social problems, become more involved in the Clemson-area community, and develop friendships with other civic-minded students in an enhanced learning environment.
