volunteers attend a general volunteer orientation which includes
an overview of the American Red Cross, our local chapter structure
and history, chapter services and volunteer opportunities. We also
review the volunteer handbook which includes policies including
dress code and volunteer responsibilities. At that time, the necessary
paperwork is completed including agreeing to follow the terms set
forth in our Code of Conduct. A more detailed training related to
the volunteer's job duties is provided by the direct supervisor
of the volunteer. |
