"Clemson was our son Chase's first and only choice. When he was accepted, we felt accepted too. Not only did he have a great education and experience, but we have too. When that happens with family, you continue to stay connected. It's not a four-year commitment, it's a lifetime. And that's what we have at Clemson."

Executive Council members Carl and Misty Howard with President Jim Clements and Vice President Almeda Jacks

Giving Opportunities

The Division of Student Affairs is a preeminent, student-centered community that creates supportive and inclusive environments to prepare students for lifelong learning. Our mission is to prepare and empower students to make a difference as global citizens. In order to do that and to provide the best Clemson Experience we can for our students, we need your support! We are grateful for all who have donated to support important programs and services for our students.

Under our strategic plan, Student Affairs supports four core themes:
• Health, safety and wellness
• Student learning
• Inclusive excellence
• Staff experience

Priority Areas

Capital Projects

The Division of Student Affairs recognizes the importance first-class facilities have on ensuring the best Clemson Experience. Currently, we are raising private funds for two important projects which will significantly impact current and future generations of students.

The Samuel J. Cadden Chapel will provide Clemson students a unique space to meditate, reflect and celebrate. Ken and Mary Cadden made an initial $1.5 million pledge to build this beautiful chapel as a tribute to their beloved son and as a gift to the people of Clemson University. The Board of Trustees gave initial approval to move forward with the chapel's design in February 2018. To learn more about giving to the chapel, click HERE.

The Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center provides students with opportunities to take part in experiential learning, competitive sports, student employment, lake activities such as kayaking and swimming, internships and leadership. Dave and Lynnette Snow made an initial $2.4 million pledge to set this ambitious, revolutionary project into motion in October 2014. The project earned Phase II state-level approval in December 2017 to begin construction on a new Outdoor Education Center and Champion Intramural and Club Sports Field, joining the existing LoConte Family Field already on site. Parents Fund

You can help enhance the Clemson Experience for students through contributions to the Parents Fund. Contributions are used to support non-budgeted needs that enhance the educational opportunities and safety of all Clemson students. Some of the services supported by the Parents Fund include the Barnes Center and U-NITES!, a social programming initiative operating under the Campus Life umbrella.
