Message from the Chairman,
Welcome to the Clemson University Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management website! I am very pleased to present a few of the many things that are going on in our busy academic department. Our faculty, staff and students are engaged in a variety of endeavors that make it nearly impossible to list them all – from our innovative curriculum and five emphasis areas in our undergraduate degree program to our internationally recognized graduate program – from our work in the South Carolina Low Country to projects in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean – from our Executive Development Program to the Outdoor Lab – from our work with child development to research in Glacier National Park – there is a lot going on.
Therefore, please explore our all we have to offer. If you cannot find something or someone, or if you have a question that we can help answer, please take the time to contact us. Hospitality is more than a buzzword at Clemson; it is something we practice.
