The CU Equine Center is home to the IHSA collegiate riding team and IES middle school and high school teams. Riders take lessons at the Center and host IHSA and IEA shows at our home facility.
Collegiate IHSA Team- The CU Equine Center is home to the CU Equestrian Team's western and hunter teams. Students take lessons on Clemson owned or leased horses and practice with homework rides throughout the academic year to prepare for IHSA competition. Trottin' Tigers IEA Team - The Trottin' Tigers IEA team is open to local riders grades 6-8 (middle school) and 9-12 (junior varsity and varsity high school team). Team members participate in weekly team practices, events and shows. The focus of this team is to create educated horsemen capable of competing in IEA competition, all while learning proper animal husbandry, stable management and tack fitting and care.
