The South Carolina Botanical Gardens Arboretum in Clemson, SC is devoted to preservation and protection of the trees on site at the gardens.
The HORT 400 class volunteered to help prune the trees on site.

Students moving mulch to the area around the newly pruned trees to help conserve soil moisture, maintain soil temperature, inhibit weed growth and add vital nutrients to the soil.
Class members were assigned to groups and given certain trees on site to prune and mulch.
