Making Bird Houses with Gourds

Kelly explains activity  "Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children." - Ancient Indian Proverb

Kelly explains to the students the activity for the day.The students will be making their own bird houses out of gourds.
 Ms. Cohen hung the bird houses in her room so they would dry. The bird houses created a beautiful rainbow of colors.painted groud houses
