Swann Fitness Center Updates

Summer hours began on May 6. Click  here  for the full schedule.

Summer Hours

Swann Fitness Center
Monday–Friday: 5:30 a.m.–9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
Sunday: Noon–8 p.m.

McHugh Natatorium Lap Pool: Closing at 8:30 p.m. during the week (Monday–Friday) with normal weekend hours. 

Climbing Wall: Monday–Thursday, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
                      Sunday: 1–4 p.m. 

Closures and Reservations

Main Gym Courts
May 18: Courts 1–3 are reserved from Noon–9 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 4–5 during this time.
May 19: Courts 1–3 are reserved from 5:30 a.m.–4 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 4–5 during this time.

The Club Gym
May 20: Reserved from 6:45–8 p.m. for a special event. The Main Gym will still be available for open recreation.

Indoor Climbing Wall
May 3: Reserved from 6:30–10:30 p.m. for a special event.

McHugh Natatorium 
May 6–7, 13, 20, 21: The Dive Well is reserved from 8 a.m.–6:15 p.m. and lanes 1–2 are reserved from Noon–6:15p.m. and lanes 1–2 are reserved from Noon–6:15 p.m. for a lifeguarding course. Open recreation will still be available in all other pool lanes. 

Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center
LoConte Family Field

May 14: No open recreation due to Mother's Day.
May 27–29: No open recreation due to Memorial Day weekend. 

LoConte Family Field is not available for open recreation if the field gate is closed and a Campus Recreation staff member is not onsite.

Outdoor Recreation Updates

Our Summer semester schedule is available!
Our spring semester calendar is up! Check out the many adventure trips we have coming up during the spring semester. Opportunities range from relaxing day hikes to some of our local waterfalls to epic weekend surfing trips and everything in between. All of our trips are beginner friendly, and we can provide everything you need to participate.

Summer Office Hours
CORE is now open on the weekends! Starting April 1, CORE began its summer season operating hours, which means that we are now open Saturday & Sunday from Noon–4:30 p.m. Weekday hours remain the same.

FREE Day–Use Boat Rentals
The weather is starting to warm up, and there is no better way to spend a warm day than paddling out on the lake. Come out to the beach at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness & Wellness Center and grab a kayak or canoe FOR FREE and enjoy the outdoors for awhile! Also, we have just started offering our rental paddleboards at a reduced day–use reat of $5.00 instead of $15.00! Come try one out today!

Explore Adventure Registration
Do you know an incoming freshman to Clemson for Fall 2017? Check out our Explore Adventure program! This week of adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains will be a great way to introduce them to life at Clemson. They will make great friends, awesome memories, and learn all about the outdoor adventure possibilities here in the Upstate! More information is available online.
