Closures and Reservations

Full Building Closures
April 8: CLOSED due to Spring Game.
April 23: Closing at 6 p.m.

Main Gym Courts
April 2: Courts 4–5 are reserved from Noon–3 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 1–3 during this time.
April 9: Courts 4–5 are reserved from Noon–3 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 1–3 during this time.
April 16: Courts 4–5 are reserved from Noon–3 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 1–3 during this time.
April 21: Courts 4–5 are reserved from 4–6:45 p.m. for a special event. Open recreation will still be available on Courts 1–3 during this time.

Lower Intramural Fields 
April 9: Reserved from 10 a.m.–4:45 p.m. for a special event.

Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center
LoConte Family Field

Open Recreation will occur most Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays, 1–4 p.m., starting March 31 until April 30, depending on weather conditions (no precipitation or lightning in the area). 


LoConte Family Field is not available for open recreation if the field gate is closed and a Campus Recreation staff member is not onsite.


Certification Courses*
April 1: Full CPR/AED/First Aid Blended Learning Course. Registration deadline March 24.
April 15: Lifeguard Review Course. Registration deadline is April 7. (Participants must hold a CURRENT lifeguard certification to register).


Register for all the certification courses at the Campus Recreation Welcome Center desk!


*All courses are pending until appropriate enrollment numbers are reached. If a course is cancelled due to low registration or other unforeseen circumstances participants will have the option to be moved to another scheduled course or issued a full refund. 


Fitness and Wellness Updates


Group Fitness:
Wellness Works Group Fitness Challenge runs from March 27–April 28! Register for and attend 10, 15, 20, or 25 classes throughout the month and receive a prize at every level.

Our Spring semester schedule is available!
Our spring semester calendar is up! Check out the many adventure trips we have coming up during the spring semester. Opportunities range from relaxing day hikes to some of our local waterfalls to epic weekend surfing trips and everything in between. All of our trips are beginner friendly, and we can provide everything you need to participate.

FREE Day–Use Boat Rentals
The weather is starting to warm up, and there is no better way to spend a warm day than paddling out on the lake. Come out to the beach at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness & Wellness Center and grab a kayak or canoe FOR FREE and enjoy the outdoors for awhile! 


Housing Trips are Available 
Are you a part of one of our Clemson housing communities? Every semester, we offer multiple adventure trips through Clemson housing at little to no cost to students. These are great opportunities to get out with your community and build relationships through fun activities in the outdoors. Check with your local community today to see what opportunities are available to you!


Explore Adventure Registration
Are you an incoming freshman to Clemson for Fall 2017? Check out our Explore Adventure program! This week of adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains will be a great way to introduce you to life at Clemson. You'll make great friends, awesome memories, and learn all about the outdoor adventure possibilities here in the Upstate! More information is available online.
