AP Statistics Institute, July 22-26, 2013

Robert Lund was one of five American Statistical Association representatives for Climate Science Day 2013 on Capitol Hill (Washington DC).  He was assigned to the Georgia/South Carolina team and visted eight Senate and House offices.  Various topics came up:  global climate change, the Tennessee/Georgia water rights dispute, and increasing hurricane frequencies.  Given their oceanic exposure, South Carolina's Coastal District 7 is very interested in hurricanes.  They want to be ready for a repeat of Hurricane Hugo.
