Short Description

Hal Hanvey has worked at Clemson’s Coastal Research and Education Center (CREC) since March 1992. He’s the CREC’s Farm Manager. He supervises the farm crew and schedules work to coordinate research objectives with field, equipment, and labor resources. He also plans crop rotations, keeps field records, and manages the maintenance and repair shop. He has helped to design and build the CREC conference room, expanded shop facilities, specialized equipment (especially sprayers), and is helping to coordinate work on CREC’s new pesticide handling facility. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a B. S. in Agronomy 1978 and M. S. in Agricultural Mechanization and Business 1982.
