College of Health, Education and Human Development

Locations & Buildings

The College of Health, Education, and Human Development is primarily located in four different buildings around campus. In addition, we have another facility in Greenville, SC.

Lehotsky Hall (constructed in 1975 and renovated in 1988) houses the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. The Outdoor Laboratory is located off the main campus on beautiful Lake Hartwell.

Edwards Hall (constructed in 1977) houses the administrative offices, Business Office, Department of Public Health Sciences, School of Nursing, Joseph F. Sullivan Center, Office of Distance Education, as well as the HEHD Academic Advising Center and Computer Support Center.

The National Dropout Prevention Center is located on the perimeter of the main campus at 209 Martin Street.

The University Center located in Greenville, SC, is home to HEHD off-campus distance education programs. The School of Nursing and the Eugene T. Moore School of Education offer graduate courses via the center; the School of Nursing offers advanced-study degrees through the center as well.
