Teacher Education

The Teacher Education Office of Field Experiences coordinates field placements and internships for initial teacher certification candidates in the upstate area.  Field placements and internships provide the real world experiences essential for candidates preparing for a career in the teaching profession.  

We are proud of the strong partnerships we have made with district officials, principals and teachers.  Our thanks go to all the school administrators, classroom teachers and university supervisors who have mentored and trained our candidates.

If a student has special needs, such as a lack of personal transportation, we do our best to take these needs into consideration when coordinating placements.
