The Supreme Constitution of the Clemson University Student Body is the controlling document providing for the independence and existence of the two Clemson student bodies and governments.

The By-Laws of the Graduate Student Body provide the framework for the organization and running of the government.

Rules and procedures for the Graduate Senate and Senate Committees

Joint committees and boards exist between the Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate Student Government. These boards are part of both governments.

Non-government boards may, at their discretion, file their rules and manuals with GSG for continuity purposes.
